Alison Kogan

Hi! My name is Alison Driben and I am a Licensed Social Worker working toward my LCSW.  

I completed my Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University with a certificate in Child and Adolescent Well-Being, and my Bachelor’s in Psychology from American University. 

I’m passionate about working with children and teens to support their mental health and overall wellness.

I have experience working with kids of all ages, from preschool to high school, which has helped me understand the range of challenges that children today face. 

I have prior private practice experience, as well as experience working in academic settings with preschoolers. 

I take a strengths-based, solution-focused approach appropriate for each client’s developmental level, incorporating creative and engaging elements, like play, art, and mindfulness.

I am also trained by Postpartum Support International in perinatal mental health disorders and psychotherapy for pregnancy and postpartum related anxiety and mood disorders.
