Tara Wong

Hi, I’m Tara Wong, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with certification in School Social Work. I’ve spent my career working with children and families in school settings, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting children as they grow, learn, and navigate challenges.

Much of my work has focused on helping children with ADHD and anxiety. I understand how overwhelming these struggles can feel—not just for the child, but for the whole family. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where kids can learn tools to manage big feelings, build confidence, and feel successful both in and out of the classroom.

I believe that every child has unique strengths, and I love working together with parents and teachers to bring out the best in each student. Through compassionate guidance, practical strategies, and lots of encouragement, I help children discover that they are capable, resilient, and not alone.

I earned both my bachelor's and master’s degrees from Rutgers University. As a licensed clinical social worker, I am able to deliver therapy focusing on internal and external factors contributing to mental health. My diverse work experience in schools, community outreach, hospitals and nursing homes informs my understanding of challenges and growth throughout the life span.
