Kristen Delventhal, MSW, LCSW, PMH-C, is a licensed clinical social worker and certified perinatal mental health specialist with more than a decade of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families. Kristen specializes in treating anxiety disorders, infertility related stress, OCD, trauma, life transitions, school avoidance, eating disorders, mood disorders, and neurodivergence, offering compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to every stage of life.
Kristen received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University, specializing in clinical social work and child, adolescent, and family mental health. She provides therapy for individuals ages 5 and up, using developmentally attuned approaches that integrate parents, caregivers, and school teams to support consistent progress across home and academic environments.
In addition to her work with children and teens, Kristen has advanced expertise in women’s mental health, perinatal and postpartum support, infertility counseling, and couples therapy. She helps individuals and families navigate the emotional, ethical, and often traumatic aspects of fertility treatment, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and early parenthood. Kristen is experienced in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and offers practical, supportive guidance grounded in compassion. She also incorporates SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) and provides parent coaching, developmental screening, and support for infant and early childhood mental health.
Kristen brings extensive experience as a school social worker, where she has spent more than ten years supporting students with complex social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Her background in public school systems allows her to collaborate seamlessly with educators, child study teams, and special education services.
